She’s a Pomeranian!

My Sister Nalla

My Sister Nalla

I just saw some pictures of my new sister.  They didn’t tell me she’s a Pomeranian too!  So she’s just like me!  Here’s a picture of her.  Isn’t she cute?  Of course she’d have to be cute for people to believe she’s my sister.  My parents named her Nalla.  There’s a surprise.  I guess that’s a nice name.  She’s coming from Sharp Poms.  They’re a Pomeranian breeder.  In case you don’t know, that means the stork brings Pomeranian puppies to them.  My parents said she will be here Saturday afternoon.  I’m going to take a bath that morning so I smell good when she comes.

I wonder what kind of toys she will bring.  I hope she likes to play the same games I do like Pull the Rope and Squeak the Toy.

There’s so much important stuff I don’t know about her.  Like I wonder if she’s a lefty or a righty.  If you’re not a Pomeranian you won’t understand.  But we Poms like to spin in tight circles.  We spin when we’re excited, when we’re frustrated, when we’re angry and even when we go potty.  Some of us spin to the left, some spin to the right.  I’m a lefty.  I hope she is too so we don’t bump into each other.

I’ll just have to wait until Saturday to find out everything.  So when will it be Saturday?

    Hi!

We also have a pomeranian that we are getting a little brother for! We are actually naming him Simba! Our other pom, Bijou just lost her little brother to a blood disorder and is very depressed after losing her playmate. We pick him up on Tuesday and we hope they will get along. How did your poms get along when you introduced them? And now? Please let me know at beanzie@rogers.com. I would love to talk to you. Thanks!

I’m sorry to hear about Bijou’s brother. She must be very sad. She will be happy to get a new brother. Nalla and I got along very well from the beginning. See my post http://simbadog.com/another-dog-in-the-house. We still do. That’s not to say we don’t fight occasionally… ok, frequently. But overall we both like having each other around. I used to be so bored when I was alone. My life has changed a lot since she came along. Things are very different. I am very different. See http://simbadog.com/she-drives-me-crazy. But overall, we’re ok together. When you bring him home you should do what my folks did–let them meet outside the house first. That will give her a chance to approve him before letting him in the house. If she doesn’t like him you’ll have to send him back. But I’m sure she will. Who can resist a Pomeranian puppy?!
    Thanks for writing!
